Awards season is in full swing which means the much anticipated Oscar nominations have been announced. After seeing some of the Golden Globes gowns ranging from amazing to atrocious, we decided to share what we would like to see the stars wear on the most important red carpet of the year.
Marion Cotillard always manages to pull off some of the most interesting silhouettes on the red carpet and this years Oscars should be no exception. We would love to see the French actress make a bold statement in this Zuhair Murad gown for the Academy Awards.

Felicity Jones usually finds the perfect balance between edgy and sophisticated on the red carpet but at this year’s Golden Globes, Jones found herself on some “Worst Dressed” lists with the teal Dior gown. This red Armani will bring out the starlet’s green eyes and put her back at the top of the red carpet fashion rankings

Julianne Moore rarely strays from a column cut or mermaid style gown and the 54 year old actress definitely has the body to pull them off. A blue Elie Saab would not only show off her amazing figure but it would also go perfectly with her red hair and ivory complexion.

Rosamund Pike had everyone talking at this year’s Golden Globes with a white cutout Vera Wang. Whether you loved the dress or hated it, the Gone Girl star surely knows how to make a statement on the red carpet and the Siriano gown we have picked is undoubtably a scene stealer.

Reese Witherspoon is the queen of minimalism when it comes to gowns. She arrived at the Globes dripping in diamonds with a Calvin Klein dress hugging every curve. This year, a simple red Antonio Beradi would look amazing on the veteran actress all while keeping with true Witherspoon style.

Patricia Arquette loves the one-shoulder look and this Badgley Mischka is sure to do the trick. The colour would be a nice change from the many black dresses she is seen in and it would look great against her skin tone.

Laura Dern, much like Julianne Moore, frequently walks the red carpet in column cut dresses to show off that fantastic bod. Vionnet’s fall line showcased many pieces with the actress’s favourite style of gowns and they had a couture flare meant for an Oscar Nominee.

Keira Knightly can always be found in Chanel, but we are hoping she changes things up for the Oscars this year. It would be a waste if this gorgeous Marchesa did not get its time to shine on the red carpet and Keira Knightly would be the starlet to pull it off.

Emma Stone has been taking fashion risks this awards season and looking great while doing it. For her Oscar debut, an Elie Saab is essential and we can picture this gown perfectly against her red hair and fair complexion.

Meryl Streep has become an Oscar staple and she shows up every time looking effortlessly chic. We hope the iconic actress graces the red carpet in this Zuhair Murad that is timeless, elegant, and embodies the perfect balance between feminine and masculine.
